Privacy Policy

Carddle for iPhone and iPad, and the Carddle viewer for Apple TV

Carddle collects nothing. No account, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising. There is no Innovatory server for anything to be sent to.

What stays on your device

Games in progress, completed games, settings and preferences are stored on your device by the app. They are not uploaded anywhere. Deleting the app removes them.

The one permission we ask for

Local network access. Carddle can show a game in progress on another device on the same network, so a table can follow the board on an iPad or on a television running the Apple TV viewer.

To do that, the app needs to find that device on your local network. Specifically:

That traffic goes straight between your own devices. It does not pass through a server and it does not leave your network. If you never show a game on another device, the permission is never used, and you can decline it and still play.

What the Apple TV viewer does

The viewer only watches. It receives the game from a device on the same network and draws it. It cannot play, and it does not store anything about you.

Children

Changes

Any change to this policy will be posted here. If a future version of the app ever collects anything, it will say so.
